Community Strategic Plan Beyond 2026

Manly Council’s Integrated Planning and Reporting Documents are now on exhibition.

The draft integrated plans include Manly Council’s ten year Community Strategic Plan Beyond 2026’; Resourcing Strategy, comprising Long Term Financial Plan, Workforce Plan and Asset Management Plan; Four Year Delivery Program 2013-2017, and One Year Operational Plan 2016-2017.

The draft documents will be on exhibition from 9am Friday 29 April 2016 to 5pm Thursday 26 May 2016.

Members of the public may inspect the draft plans at the following locations and times:

•             Manly Town Hall - 1 Belgrave Street, Manly, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm.

•             Manly Library - Market Place, Manly, during Library hours, and at

•             Seaforth / Balgowlah Branch Library, at the corner of Sydney Road and Frenchs Forest Road.

The draft plans are also available on Council’s website here.

Lifeline Northern Beaches Giant Book Fair

The Lifeline Northern Beaches Giant Book Fair is on this weekend, Friday, 29 April (4.00pm – 9.00pm) Saturday, 30 April (9.00am – 5.00 pm) and Sunday 1 May (9.00am – 2.00pm) at Balgowlah Boys Campus at the corner of Sydney Road and Maretimo Street, Balgowlah.

There will be thousands of good quality books, at bargain prices, in many categories, including a wide range of children's books suited to all ages.

For the enthusiast/collector there are a large number of award winning and collectible books.

In addition to the above, they will also have a wide selection of puzzles, games, CDs and vinyls - so there’s something for everyone!

All funds raised support the activities of Lifeline Northern Beaches

Visa, Mastercard and EFTPOS facilities available. Entry by gold coin donation.
